Special Instructions

Bone marrow aspiration/biopsy requiring laboratory assistance. 

Procedures should be scheduled Monday through Friday 6:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Notify the laboratory at least twelve (12 hours) before the procedure (preferably twenty-four (24) hours).  Provider to notify nursing staff to order bone marrow kit from central supply.
